Dr. Ryan qualified from UCC in 2013. He then relocated to the UK initially completing a year of vocational training before working in a practice and hospital setting in Cornwall. While working in the hospital setting, Dr. Ryan enhanced his surgical skills by carrying out many oral surgery procedures in patients under intravenous sedation and general anaesthetic.
Dr. Ryan has done postgraduate implant and restorative training at the University of Bristol. He is also a member of the society for advancement in anaesthesia and can provide intravenous sedation in primary care for the many patients who are terrified of attending the dentist.
As both an undergraduate and since qualifying, Dr. Ryam has attended a number of Third World cuntries on charity dental programmes to help those less fortunate.
In his spare time Dr. Ryan likes to spend time with his family and has recently had a newborn baby boy.He also enjoys cycling since a very young age and is a Cork hurling supporter. Dr. Ryan is delighted to be part of The James Clinic multidisciplinary team with all the latest technology.
